Applications are now open for the BigCi Environmental Awards 2026, inviting Australian and international artists working across visual art, installation, multimedia, performance, literature, music, photography, filmmaking and curatorial practice to respond to the environment through creative research and practice.
Two award recipients will each receive:
- A$5,000 prize
- Four-week residency at BigCi
- Guided access to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wollemi, Blue Mountains and Gardens of Stone National Parks
- Research support relevant to their project
- An opportunity to present their work at the BigCi Open Day
The awards will be judged by an independent panel, with winners announced on 22 August 2026.
