Bridie Gillman is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is informed by ideas of place, and the ways in which experiences and memories shape our perspective of a site.
Living and working in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Art with Honours at the Queensland College of Art in 2013. Since graduating she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
Gillman is part of Woven Kolektif, a collective of artists who formed through shared connections to Indonesia. Together they have collaborated on exhibitions at Cement Fondu, Sydney, Outer Space, Brisbane and Cemeti Institute, Yogyakarta, among others.
In addition to her practice, Bridie is founder of STABLE, an artist run initiative which has held over 30 exhibitions since 2017.
Bridie Gillman is represented by Edwina Corlette Gallery and Hugo Michell Gallery.
