In 2015, Life Art Worldwide Arts Expo will host the ‘Brisbane Art Prize’ for the first time. A $10,000 prize is on offer to one of the finalists pre-selected for the showcase in September.
The exhibition of finalists for the Brisbane Art Prize will be showcased at Lightspace in The Valley, Brisbane for 5 days during the Life Art Worldwide Arts Expo (23 -27 September 2015). These dates are aligned with the 2015 Brisbane Festival.
Art works for the ‘Brisbane Art Prize’ must be:
- 2D artwork only (painting, drawing, printmaking, photography etc)
- An overall framed sized work measuring 40 x 40 cm. Stock of this size are available at http://www.chapmanbailey.com.au/
- Framed ready to hang
Art works for the Brisbane Art Prize will be preselected for:
- Technical proficiency
- Adherence to the *concept
- Artistic innovation
If preselected for the Brisbane Art prize, artists have the chance to showcase their work at the Life Art Worldwide Arts Expo in all of the following mediums:
- Painting
- Drawing
- Photography
- Printmaking
- Sculpture
Life Art Worldwide is an Arts Expo purposefully designed to recognise and promote visual artists from all around the world.
Submissions for the Brisbane Arts Prize:
- Entry is $45 per entry with a maximum of 4 entries per artist
