The Brisbane Illustration Fair (BIF) returns in 2026 for a vibrant two-day celebration of illustration, bringing together over 180 artists and illustrators from across Brisbane and beyond.
Founded in 2023 by illustrators Joanna and Jenaya, BIF was created to address a gap in Brisbane’s creative scene — offering a dedicated platform for illustration and building a stronger connection between artists and the public. Since its beginnings at Spring Hill Hall, the fair has grown rapidly, now taking over the John Reid Pavilion at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Visitors can expect a dynamic mix of stalls featuring prints, zines, books, and original artworks, alongside a Workshop & Creative Zone designed to engage and inspire. With affordable entry and a strong community focus, BIF continues to champion grassroots creativity and accessible art experiences.
