The William Fletcher Foundation is committed to supporting talented artists who are sincerely devoted to maintaining and developing the skills of drawing and painting. This does not rule out innovative approaches or variable media, but it does exclude technological alternatives such as CGI that dispense with traditional material such as chalk, ink, graphite, silverpoint, pastel, watercolour, gouache or oil paint.
Applicants must be able to be self-sufficient in being able to reach Bundanon, as well as self-cater.
Location
Bundanon is within easy reach for visitors from the nearest cities: 2½ hours by road from Sydney and Canberra, 20 minutes from Nowra on the Shoalhaven River, and one hour from the Southern Highlands and Wollongong. The final 3 km of road from Nowra winds its way through bushland, descending to the Shoalhaven River basin.
