This year’s Burwood Art Prize has expanded to accept entries in the form of a painting and digital-still medium. Total Prize pool is $13,500, with Burwood Art Prize $10,000 (acquisitive), New and Emerging Artist $2,500 (acquisitive) and People’s Choice $1,000 (non-acquisitive). It is free to enter.
The entry closing date has been extended until 5pm 1 November 2021.
Due to the impact of the COVID19 lockdown and restrictions in Sydney, the Burwood Art exhibition has been postponed, with the exhibition taking place in early 2022.
The exhibition will now occur at the Burwood Library and Community Hub between 25 February – 30 March 2022.
To be eligible you must live, work, study or have a demonstrated connection to Burwood, Strathfield, Canada Bay Local Government Areas (LGA’s) or in the suburb of Ashfield in NSW.
Entrants must be 16 years or older (as of 1 November 2021).
