Founded as Fiona Mail in 2008, renamed as Catherine Sagin in 2010, the collaboration of Catherine Sagin and Kate Woodcroft returns as Catherine or Kate.
In the lead up to this exhibition they undertook a residency in Iceland where they continued the competitive method developed in Duel, a live fencing match between the collaborators in 2010. Using a typical mix of shameless bravado and deadpan delivery their new works ask participants and viewers to evaluate the duo’s physical appearance.
