Deadline:

The Hold Artspace

‘Disjecta’ explores family history and the on-going influence of heritage on the individual. Gibson’s work deals with a range of forces and effects including the relationships between archival materials and digital technology, as well as her mixed Indigenous and Slovenian heritage, knowledge and absence, and the relationship between past and present.

Seeking processes that translate archival materials and gaps in information, Gibson employs scanners, glitch apps, 3D printing and photo-hacking to create material metaphors for the connections and disconnections that shape our sense of self.
Opening Night: Thursday 12th March, 6-8pm
