Dim the lights. Close the door. Light a candle. Sit very still…
We gather here today for Collective: Ghost, a vigil to the year we lost. We bow our heads and think about the plans we set in stone and how they crumbled, the ‘ghost’ exhibitions that sat unseen in darkened gallery spaces, the ideas, expectations and hopes that were left unrealised. We pile all that was lost into a mound and set it alight. Together we join hands and wait to see what will emerge from the ashes. Collective: Ghost turns our feelings into code to build a space to meet – it’s a haunted website, an artistic apparition, a space for offering, uncovering and holding one another.
We invite you to join us there! Jazz Money, Katy B Plummer, Meng-Yu Yan, Pony Express and
Sancintya Mohini Simpson will meet us with psychic offerings, deep fakes, nostalgic digital gardens and unfolding poetry.
Explore the site, then join us as the sun sets and the full moon rises on Monday 30 November from 6-8pm for a live digital vigil.
