The Culprit Club, BAM – Brisbane Art Matriarchs Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and Brisbane City Council proudly present this Creative Comradery: An open panel discussion to coincide with local Brisbane showcase, Women’s Work: Outdoor Gallery Exhibition.
Hosted at the Museum of Brisbane, this panel discussion invites local creatives and curators to speak openly about their experiences working in the creative industry as well as the positive nature of comradery and collaboration, in celebration of empowerment and equality in the creative industries.
Featured speakers include: Emily Devers (The Third Quarter), Miranda Hine (Museum of Brisbane), Megan Starr-Thomas (The Brisbane Collective), Sarah Hazlehurst (The Culprit Club, Mayne Line, BAM – Brisbane Art Matriarchs) and Dominique Falla (Queensland College of Art, Griffith University) and Claire Tracey (Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, BAM – Brisbane Art Matriarchs)
This panel discussion also follows MOB’s exhibition, ‘New Woman’ which reveals the art, personal stories and enduring legacies of Brisbane’s most significant and ground-breaking female artists over the past 100 years.
