Applications for the Cube Production Residency Program are now open to writers with experience in delivering high-quality literary programs whose practice intersects digital media, and science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
The Cube Production Residency Program is currently offering a Digital Writing Residency. This is a unique opportunity for an individual writer or a writer within a team of digital creatives to develop and produce a STEM-inspired project for display on the Cube. The Cube is a state-of-the-art, large scale, high-definition interactive digital display environment, located at the heart of QUT’s new Science and Engineering Centre. The Cube’s vision is to provide an innovative, world-class digital interactive environment for STEM learning, research and engagement.
The successful applicant will be provided with access to this cutting-edge facility, the production studio and development space, and receive financial support (AUD$35,000). As a production-based residency the successful applicant will produce a digital project that utilises the Cube’s capabilities, interactive technologies and associated digital modalities in inventive and unique ways.
