World Science Festival Brisbane (WSFB) invites expressions of interest to participate in Curiocity Brisbane 2023, an annual temporary public art event.
Artists can submit ideas for artworks that celebrate the interconnectivity of art and science.
The festival is seeking a diverse array of artworks varying in scale, budget and type of public engagement strategy from participatory and reflective to interactive and large scale. All media are welcome.
Artworks will be open 8am to 8pm daily in public spaces during Curiocity Brisbane from 22 March – 2 April 2023. Base funding from $3,000-$50,000 will be available for selected artworks.
Artists can express interest with either a new commissioned artwork or an existing artwork that has not been exhibited in Queensland before.
