Milani Gallery presents Site, Non Site, Place, a solo exhibition by acclaimed contemporary artist d harding.
Working across installation, painting, sculpture and other media, harding explores the visual and social languages of their communities as a living cultural continuum. A descendant of the Bidjara, Ghungalu and Garingbal peoples, the artist draws upon Indigenous knowledge systems and cultural inheritance to examine relationships between place, memory, identity and contemporary experience.
The exhibition continues harding’s internationally recognised practice, which has been presented at major institutions including the Venice Biennale, Tate Modern, QAGOMA, Palais de Tokyo, Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, and the Institute of Modern Art.
