David Parker

My current body of work blends digital art and large-scale paintings. The process of drawing on the computer informs my approach to painting on canvas. I find a sense of immediacy and connection in making marks digitally using Photoshop, which influences my traditional art practice. I present a combination of electronically printed images alongside large-scale paintings on canvas. Thematically, my work is shaped by my perspective as a man, often inspired by political news.
