Diamantina X Art Collective: The Power of Ten

Deadline:

QCAD Project & Webb Galleries

GUAM is delighted to support the Diamantina X Art Collective’s 2025 exhibition at the QCAD Project & Webb Galleries.

Formed in 2021, the Diamantina X Art Collective united ten art enthusiasts with a shared passion for collecting works by emerging, mid-career, and established Australian artists. Inspired by the late Dick Bett’s model, the group sought to re-engage with the art market after COVID-19. Over five years, members collectively selected and rotated artworks through their homes, fostering personal engagement and deeper insight into contemporary practice through these works as well as gallery and art fair visits.

In 2025, the full Diamantina X Collection of 44 works will be exhibited together for the first and only time at QCAD’s Webb and Project Galleries. The exhibition celebrates the power of collective collecting: how shared purpose can broaden perspectives, build community, and open new pathways into Australian contemporary art.

Join us for opening celebrations on Friday 28 November, 6–8pm followed by a panel discussion and auction on Saturday 29 November, 2–3pm.
