At first glance, Gold, silver & rough diamonds – the second exhibition of Donna Marcus’ work to be held with Andrew Baker Art Dealer – continues her exploration of the overlap of domestic and industrial aesthetics, but there is something exceptionally distinctive at play here. The exhibition includes a series of new artworks that feature vibrant as found pigments, only made possible by amassing a significant collection of various coloured anodised objects over the past 23 years.
