Boxcopy is now accepting proposals for our 2013 emerging artist program.
Each year Boxcopy supports a QLD artist, recently graduated or at the beginning stages of their career, to experiment and develop new works for exhibition. In 2012, collaborative duo Clark Beaumont developed video works for their exhibition at Boxcopy She’ll be Right and have since been included in the exhibitions Immediacy, curated by Beth Jackson and Jay Younger and in the upcoming 13 Rooms, curated by Klaus Biesenbach and Hans Ulrich Obrist.
We will provide ongoing feedback and discussion on your practice, leading up to a solo exhibition in November and will contribute $1000 towards the material costs of creating a new body of work. We will also commission an essay on your work and publish an online catalogue to accompany the show.
