Ephemera: Seaside Sculptures 2023 Call for Artists are open now. Competitive works will be on display along Townsville’s picturesque 2-kilometer beachfront, The Strand, from 22 July to 6 August 2023. Artists are invited to submit original works and concepts for Ephemera 2023. In developing proposals, artists are asked to consider the specific site for which the work is intended, with large-scale works strongly encourage Successful applicants will be granted a $5,000 Artist Fee to support them in creating their work. By entering, you could be in with the chance to win the $1,000 People’s Choice Award, $10,000 Artistic Excellent Award, or the $90,000 Ephemera Acquisitive Prize.
