Deadline:

Project Gallery, QCA

Drawn Together, a solo exhibition of new work by Erin Dunne, offers an autobiographical account of contemporary life in rural and regional Central Queensland from a queer perspective. The work’s presentation seeks to embody the fluidity and porousness of boundaries that demarcate queer bodies, experiences and geographies. Reflecting on moments of intimacy, vulnerability, playfulness and the ordinary, the work simultaneously reveals and inscribes the presence of queer bodies, practices and communities in these locations.
Drawn Together aims to create a space for reflection, conversation and exchange that enables exploration of new possibilities for articulating queer presence and experience that exist beyond the known, the metropolitan, and the stereotypical.
