Feel The Quality

10th – 27th September

Metro Arts

An exhibition of works made in collaboration, Poulgrain and Millhouse create intimate scenarios through a process of collection and construction, asking the audience to engage with the ‘quality’ of materials and sensations.

Feel The Quality explores the potential for objects, forms and narratives to act as historical documents that describe their social and cultural context. Sarah Poulgrain and Llewellyn Millhouse have recreated scenarios and sensations typical of everyday life by collecting and reconstructing public material, they then invite the audience to engage with the quality of materials and consider the cultural and historical values of the items.
