The Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize returns in 2026, inviting artists from across Australia to respond to the theme ‘A Sense of Place’. Held in McLaren Vale, the prize showcases a diverse selection of contemporary 2D and 3D works, celebrating connections to environment, identity, and landscape.
Alongside the main exhibition at Fleurieu Arthouse, a Curator’s Choice exhibition will be presented at Stump Hill Gallery, expanding opportunities for artists to exhibit their work.
With a total prize pool of nearly $30,000, awards include the Fleurieu Art Prize, Emerging Artist Prize, People’s Choice, and Curator’s Choice. This is a strong opportunity for both emerging and established artists to gain national recognition.
