As part of the closing program for FORM ~ Movement, Studio Maverik presents a one-hour life drawing workshop exploring gesture, rhythm and dynamic movement.
A professional dancer will act as the life model, moving continuously through the space rather than holding static poses. Participants will work with graphite on transparent paper to create free-flowing, layered drawings that explore rhythm, movement and the energy of the human body.
The guided session includes prompts and exercises encouraging participants to draw continuously and intuitively. No previous life drawing experience is required, with the workshop suitable for beginners and experienced artists.
Materials Provided: Transparent paper, graphite pencils, erasers, sharpeners and drawing boards.
Cost: Ticketed event
Age: 18+
