Foursite is a new, free, quarterly and print-only Queensland arts periodical. Foursite is seeking submissions from Queensland-based artists, art professionals, galleries and museums for its first issue.
The nature of foursite will depend on the submissions it receives. Material for submission could include:
– Interviews with nominated artists (all media) and art professionals
– Images of new works
– Works presented in/developed for the publication (e.g text work)
– Essays and exhibition reviews
– Book/catalogue reviews or previews
– Insert (such as a postcard, small multiple or ‘gift’ for lucky reader)
– Advertisements for forthcoming exhibition (artist-run, commercial, institutional)
– News/achievements of Queensland artists and art professionals
It is intended that foursite will be printed on pastel coloured card, a new colour each issue, with white stock for new work images/advertisements as required, and posted to subscribers/interested institutions.
