FRAMED exhibits work from Brisbane’s growing underground art community through monthly solo exhibitions at Fortitude Valley’s cocktail hotspot, Barbara. Featuring wide ranges of mediums, styles and artists, the series aims to display an accurate cross section of our local forward thinking artists. Running for one week of each month with a focus on collaboration and community, the exhibitions may feature anything from live Q+A’s with the artist, to demonstrations, to poetry readings and even musical performances.
On opening nights, patrons can expect drink specials, curated playlists and unique insights into the featured artist’s creative process, inspiration and background.
