Fu: Contemporary Papercutting for Good Fortune Workshop

Turn paper into an intricate masterpiece for protection and good luck. Papercutting is a tradition that emerged from the agricultural region near the Yellow River in China between the fourth and sixth centuries. One of its primary functions was to bring good fortune or ‘Fu’.

Learn more about the traditions and artistry of this centuries-old practice and its evolution by joining New Woman artist Pamela See in this workshop as she guides you through designing and cutting your own paper talismans. No prior experience required.
