The City of Greater Geelong is seeking media artists, projection artists and creative teams to create a new audiovisual digital artwork for the City Hall Christmas projection program.
The commissioned work will be presented as part of the City of Greater Geelong’s Public Art Program, with the projection season running from 21 November 2026 to 10 January 2027.
The commission is valued at $20,000. Works should demonstrate a strong artistic vision and clear visual narrative and be suitable for large-format architectural projection. The program aims to present contemporary art, utilise colour, shape and movement, reflect Geelong’s diverse cultural heritage and provide accessible public art experiences.
EOI submissions must include:
- Short biography demonstrating relevant experience and capacity to deliver the commission
- Current CV, maximum 2 pages
- Up to five examples of previous artwork, design or projection practice
- Confirmation of ability to meet the project timelines
