Ride the Chronovore explores time through Geoffrey Burns’ repeated encounters with locations at different times of year. The works emerge through observation, repetition and memory, tracing seasonal and environmental changes across surfaces and forms. The exhibition considers time as an active force that consumes, transforms and leaves evidence behind, bringing the shorter span of human life into relation with the slower cycles of the natural world.
