Applications are now being accepted for the Ground Zero Gallery exhibition program. SCAIP is looking for artists inclusive of all forms of creativity to exhibit in the newly redeveloped Ground Zero Gallery from January to June 2012
Please email: scaip.booking@gmail.com expressing your interest in exhibiting at Ground Zero Gallery with an artist Bio, your CV and 4 examples of your work.
All exhibitions run for 2 weeks and if selected you may be asked to exhibit as part of a group show. You need to be available to exhibit anywhere between January and June, however if you have a preferred time, let us know and we will try to accommodate it.
There is no fee for emerging artists who are selected to exhibit However, the artist is required to organise a launch, their own marketing and promotion and orangise supervision of the show. If any of the works in the exhibition sell there is a small commission of 15% that goes back to SCAIP for the running of the gallery and wider space.
Applications Close: 30th November with successful artists being notified shortly after that date.
Sunshine Coast Arts Industry Precinct Inc. (SCAIP) is a not-for-profit regional arts based community organisation located within and manages the Old Ambulance Station Arts Centre in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. SCAIP’s main aims is to be inclusive of all forms of creativity and aims to build the capacity of the community, artists and organisations to address identified needs in a creative way. The Old Ambulance Station Arts Centre comprises of several permanent and casual creative spaces including Ground Zero Gallery this space includes three gallery/artist workshop spaces with approximately 70 lineal meters of hanging space and provides a space for emerging artists and creatives to exhibit and showcase their work in a professional environment with curatorial support.
