The Harden Art Prize is in its second year following a very successful inaugural event held in the twin towns of Harden-Murrumburrah on the south-west slopes of NSW in May 2022.
Entries were received from across Australia for the acquisitive prize and the inaugural winner was Melbourne artist Domenyk Eades.
On offer is a $10,000 prize for the winner, plus a $250 People’s Choice Award. The prize is open to artists from across Australia. Entries close on 10 March 2023, and the works of the chosen finalists will be exhibited at the Old Courthouse Murrumburrah on 28-30 April and 6-7 May 2023.
The organisation responsible for the event is a community committee, Harden Art Prize Incorporated, which evolved from an initiative of dual sponsors the Harden Murrumburrah Community Bank and the Geoffrey Kruger Trust.
