Why have the Heart Art Show ?
This event is all about supporting young and emerging artists who are keen to get their work out there whilst at the same time, helping to raise money for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children across the state.
Guests will be treated to tasty treats, funky house DJ beats, the opportunity to bid on some spectacular local art, a chance to win some sweet prizes and you are invited to get down and dirty in the Juggler’s tunnel and get yourself creative by spraying, painting, chalking and drawling…
Entry to the exhibition is $30 and will includes lots of amazing food, a wine or beer on arrival and entry to the most interactive and creative art exhibition in Brisbane.
What is normally involved with a submission ?
Each year we receive a variety of art works from all different genres. We are welcoming all entries for submission– be it a painting, a sculpture, an animation or some graphic design. All ideas are encouraged!
Why it is worth your while to donate ?
Donating a piece to the Heart Art Show is a fantastic opportunity to have your artwork professionally displayed at one of Brisbane’s up and coming art spaces. Additionally, if you choose to attend the event as well as donating a piece, you will have the chance to network with a host of industry guests.
The Young Variety Heart Art Show acts as a platform for artists from a diverse range of disciplines to exhibit their work in a space that aims at exposing emerging artists to a broader community. As an artist who donates their work you can expect industry and media exposure, a complimentary ticket to the event, but more importantly, your contribution will be helping a cause worthy of grand generosity.
When will this art extravangaza be taking place ?
This is all taking place on Friday 8th March at Jugglers’ Art Space in Fortitude Valley from 7pm onwards. The event is a spectacular party and includes great music, food and drinks, interactive art performances and a silent auction!
