Here Space Launch

Here Space, Brisbane’s newest art space—featuring working artist studios—invites you to join our creative community for our launch party, exhibition opening and first ever open studio weekend.

• LAUNCH PARTY & EXHIBITION OPENING: (Fri 3 May 5:30-8 pm) – Kick off the celebrations with an opening night party! Meet the resident artists, enjoy drinks and music, and be among the first to experience Here Space.
• HERE & NOW Group Exhibition: (3 May – 26 May) – a curated showcase of the diverse talents of Here Space’s resident artists.

• OPEN STUDIOS All Weekend: (Fri 3 May 2-8 pm / Sat 4 May 10-4pm / Sun 5 May 12-4pm)
  Get a glimpse behind the scenes when you explore the professional working studios of emerging and established Brisbane artists.

• CONNECT with the creative community: Meet the artists, chat about their work, and gain insights into their practices, processes and inspirations.
• SUPPORT local artists: Buy directly from emerging and established artists and take home a special piece of Brisbane’s vibrant art scene.
• SUPPORT equity and diversity in contemporary art: 10% of participating artwork sales will fund our upcoming equity studio residency program for First Nations/LGBTIQA+/ Disabled artists.
