Home is where the heart is, but where is the heart? We move for different reasons, and the exhibition intends to capture different experiences of uprooting and rerooting, and the hopes and the traumas that come with them.
Home is a multimedia exhibition bringing together artists from the Brisbane community, interstate, and internationally. The event opens on the 5th from 6pm – 9pm. There will be a live performance at 7pm. You can also enjoy the exhibition on 6th of December between 11am and 3pm.
Home maps out the condition of the DISPOSSESSED, the MIGRANT, the REFUGEE, the DISPLACED, the MISPLACED, the GOLD DIGGER, the HOMELESS and the HOMESICK.

House Conspiracy acknowledges the Turrbal and Yugara people, the First Nations custodians of the lands where House Conspiracy now stands and that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits, recognising that these lands have always been places of teaching, creativity and learning. We acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people play within our community.
