HYPERSPECTRAL is the inaugural contemporary arts and music event by PhotoAccess! This immersive showcase will feature the convergence of local and emerging contemporary digital media, video, music and sound artists responding to the themes of Hauntology, Trans/Post Humanism, Otherworldly Events, and more than Human Occurrences. HYPERSPECTRAL calls attention to current questions about the ontological and epistemological nature of photography and the moving image, encouraging us to question the tension between real and virtual, between representation and imagination.
Taking place on the 29th of October 2022 in Manuka Arts Centre Gardens, the works of digital media artists will be projected onto traditional and experimental on-site installations.
We now invite artists creating digital media and video work to submit to HYPERSPECTRAL.
All artists that are selected to participate in HYPERSEPECTRAL will receive a $100 stipend in recognition of their contribution.
