“Image Archaeology I: Fabergé Recovery Team” is a frantic exploration of internet archives, scoured to uncover the truth behind what happened to the lost Faberge Eggs. Through a rigorous technique that combines data mining, chance and storytelling, Charlie Donaldson leads us into a chaotic world of speculative thought, interrogating contemporary techniques of disseminating information in the digital world.
