IN | artist run initiative is taking expressions of interest from artists who wish to take part in our Cell Mates Residency Program for the month of December 2022 (late nov bump in).
ABOUT CELL MATES
IN | artist run initiative will pair two artists together to undertake a collaborative residency. This pairing will be driven by the potentiality of either two divergent artistic practices and/or practices that share common languages, conceptual anchors or processes. The residency is designed for artists looking to expand the boundaries of their current practice and those interested in cross-fertilisation.
Successful applicants will be required to present a public outcome with your fellow Cell Mate residency artist. This could look like a workshop, exhibition, artist talk, screening, activation, listening party. Outcome to be agreed upon in consultation with IN directors.
Contemporary artists working across all art forms are eligible to apply. Artists that are local, First Nations, queer or gender diverse, and/or experience disability are encouraged to apply.
