Museum of Brisbane presents In Residence: A Decade of Creative Practice, a landmark exhibition celebrating ten years of its Artist in Residence program and the artistic innovation, collaboration and creative exchange it has fostered.
The program has welcomed more than 100 artists and supported over 50 original projects, engaging millions of visitors and transforming the Museum into a space where creativity is shared with the community. For many artists, the residency has provided a platform for ambitious new work, creative discovery and professional growth.
Through artworks, behind-the-scenes insights, artist interviews, digital archives and artist publications, the exhibition explores the ideas and creative outcomes that have emerged over the past decade. It also recognises the vision and generosity of Tim Fairfax AC, whose support established the nationally recognised program.
The exhibition features ten works by artists including Mia Boe, Robert Brownhall, Gerwyn Davies and Elizabeth Willing. Visitors can also discover a program of artist-led workshops celebrating the contemporary voices that have shaped the residency.
Opening Hours: Daily, 10 am–5 pm.
Admission: Free.
