Brisbane City Council is seeking proposals for one producer, curator or cultural organisation to develop, program, and deliver the Indigenous Art Program for 2023.

The successful applicant will present a six-month program that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, heritage and community.

Since 2016, the Indigenous Art Program has transformed Brisbane’s streets and laneways into an outdoor exhibition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks. The program takes place from May-October 2023 and includes a complementary program of free public events including and not limited to walking tours, talks, panel discussions, open studios, workshops and children’s activities.

 

How to apply

Step One:
Read through the Request for Proposal document.

Step Two:
Email the attachments outlined in the Request for Proposal document to Creative Communities team with ‘Indigenous Art Program 2023’ in the subject line by 5pm Thursday 15 December 2022.

Applicants will be advised of the outcome within f weeks of the closing date.
