The Brisbane based fine art photographer, is recognised throughout the world for her creative take on modern art with her surrealist, graphic photography, being featured by New York City’s famed The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) digital platform.
Jane beautifully transforms vintage photos into colourful, surreal and whimsical pieces of modern art that are described as enchanting, with more than 50 of her pieces on display at the new exhibition.
It is the first time Jane’s photography had been showcased in Brisbane and is part of the new Art @ Portside series, displaying works by some of the city’s most prolific creatives.
The Jane Long exhibition is one of several that will feature at Portside Wharf, with a rotating line up of artists presenting until the end of October.
