Jason Fitzgerald’s Unearthed presents a series of glazed stoneware sculptures that occupy the space between archaeological artefact, architectural fragment and imagined object. Appearing as though excavated from an uncertain past, the works explore ideas of ruin, displacement, memory and transformation.
Fitzgerald’s forms suggest objects that were once whole but have been altered, reassembled and displaced. Their interruptions and imperfections become central to the works, inviting viewers to construct their own stories while leaving their origins deliberately unresolved.
