The IMA is looking for two new audience development professionals to join our team. We are recruiting for a Creative Producer, Public Programs and Education Manager. Please note these are two separate part time positions, however if a candidate can fulfil the duties of both roles, we will consider one full time appointment.
Creative Producer, Public Programs
We are looking for an innovative and highly organised Creative Producer, Public Programs to deliver public programs and events at the IMA.Working closely with internal personnel and external stakeholders, this role is both curatorial and logistical. You will be passionate about connecting audiences to contemporary art and embedding the IMA in the Brisbane cultural community.
Each year the IMA delivers a breadth of public programs, including talks, screenings, guided exhibition tours, live performances, book, and exhibition launches. The Creative Producer, Public Programs oversees these activities and manages their delivery in collaboration with other team members.

Education Manager
The IMA is looking to grow its education offering to secondary and tertiary audiences and the Education Manager develops, manages, and delivers these activities. Working closely with the Assistant Director, Program and Audiences, the Creative Producer, Public Programs, Marketing and Communications Manager, artists, and program participants, this role encompasses both outreach and delivery.
The Education Manager is a new role which will oversee the development of a program of education activities and manages their delivery in collaboration with other team members. We are committed to sustaining a high level of visitor experience, providing our audience with curriculum-linked contemporary art experiences and offering education resources to complement our exhibitions program.
