Please join us at the gallery on Saturday May 11 for the opening of Joseph Daws’ exhibition,Paintings & Ceramics. Based in South East Queensland, Daws’ exhibition presents a selection of new landscape and abstract paintings, as well as ceramics. The ceramics, which take the form of “chawan” or tea bowls,
are used in tea ceremonies throughout South East Asia. As part of the inaugural Brisbane Art Design Festival, Jan Manton Art will be holding two tea ceremonies facilitated by The Asian Arts Society of Australia on Saturday May 25 from 2pm.
