It’s a new year and we’re looking for a new intern to help out on the 2015 Marie Ellis OAM Prize for Drawing. The role is to assist Project Manager Holly Riding and Director Peter Breen in the production of the competition. The role includes the opportunity to experience firsthand how to deliver a nationwide competition whilst developing promotional, creative administrative and curatorial skills.
The position will run Feb 1 – Aug 7, however the hours will mainly be in Feb and June/July with approximate six hours a week. All other months will consist of approximately 2 hours non-contact per week, with regular fortnightly / monthly meetings at Jugglers Art Space, Fortitude Valley.
Ideally we’re looking for a visual arts or event management student in their second year of study, however all creative industry students are encouraged.
