Fram Kitagawa, Japanese curator, publisher, art critic and community advocate, offers his thoughts on the role of art in contemporary society. Kitagawa will be joined by Soichiro Fukutake, Director of the Chichu Art Museum Naoshima and speak on his philosophy, projects, and the challenges Japan faces in the wake of the earthquake.

The lecture will be delivered in Japanese with English translation.
