Linda Zucco’s MOD series draws inspiration from subcultures in Queensland’s 1980s, which were partially adopted from England and influenced by music like The Jam and The Who. Using bright slightly bleached-out sub-tropical colours of Queensland and juxtaposing the Mod clothing and the surfless beach in Brisbane is highly appealing.
