It has long been theorised that fundamental tensions exist between time, space and our sense of self. A liminal space is formed when these entities intersect, creating a narrow, temporary field of uncertainty. It is these slim margins of intersection that artists Victoria Wareham, Adam Anderson and Jacinta Giles explore in their group show ‘Performing Space’. Using a combination of live performance, video installation and image projection, the audience is invited to inhabit these points of relational stasis, in an attempt to bring them into the collective consciousness.
