“Its lost all its bark”
Solid Gold is the manifestation of a mateship between two Brisbane based emerging artists Lucy Forsberg and Sally Molloy whose practices intersect in their commentary of Australian sociology and national identity. With reference to the bush, the two are getting back to their roots and exploring their own affinity with the landscape, as well as negotiating Australia’s cultural and political heritage.
