Three artists have been selected for Metro Arts’ inaugural MAVA Pathfinders Program: Caitlin Franzmann, Elizabeth Willing, and James Barth.
Caitlin, Liz and James will soon commence their Pathfinder residency at the newly refurbish MAVA Substation and spend the following 12 months developing new work and career models that prioritise creative practice AND financial stability.
As a part of the program each artist has been endowed with a paid 12-month residency, studio space, materials budget, workshop access, and professional development opportunities.
This initiative, valued at over $200,000 has been made possible through generous support from the Federal Government’s Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund, and Metro Arts.
