Melt Festival is an annual open-access festival of queer arts and culture staged across Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia.
Building on the success of its predecessor, Melt, which was staged annually at Brisbane Powerhouse from 2015, the festival showcases queer art, artists, allies, icons, sport and ideas.
With Brisbane preparing to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Melt provides a platform for queer arts and culture across the city.
The festival is guided by the Melt Reference Group, a committee of LGBTQIA+ leaders and artists.
