Eligible Meanjin / Brisbane artists are invited to apply for 1 of 2 small scholarships to assist in showing their important work and critical practices to the world. These mini scholarships provide awarded artists opportunity to apply for any number of national and international creative prizes they wish, up to the value of $100 (negotiable); plus opportunity for mini guidance sessions.
The scholarships aim to allow space for artists to improve their application and documentation skills; further encourage early-career self-directed learning and mentorship; aid in providing access to curator and curatorial teams’ awareness – all the while removing financial consideration concerns.
