MONO x IAG brings together the Institute of Modern Art’s long-running experimental sound program with Ipswich Art Gallery for a special expanded presentation as part of Spark Festival.
Curated by Lawrence English, MONO has spent two decades presenting sonic experimentation, durational performance and boundary-pushing artistic practices. This one-night event invites audiences to engage with sound, movement and performance through an ambitious lineup of local, national and international artists.
Performances include Akio Suzuki and Hiromi Miyakita, Cloudy Ku, Heinz Riegler, Juliet Widyasari Burnett x Kasimyn, J.WLSN and Liam Keenan, Primitive Motion Sound System, Queensland Conservatorium Gamelan Ensemble, Unregistered Master Builder and Vanessa Tomlinson.
